I originally got this idea from the cute couple over at Young House Love who are using postcards & other items to decorate their office space. DC Princess is also working on similar project to trade postcards with internet friends as well as to hook up people from around the internets with each other to expand their own postcard collections.
So here it is:
If you're feeling gracious, I would LOVE to have a postcard from you to add to my collection. Send me one with a picture of your current locale & maybe a factoid or two about your town. Or if you're on a fabulous vacation you can drop me a line from wherever you are and make me jealous.

The details:
Make sure to include your Twitter handle or blog URL so I can link to you when I show off my fancy new postcards here on the bloggy. Don't worry, I wont display your address or name (unless you ask me to), only the front of the post card.
For every post card I get I'll send you one back as long as your remember to include your mailing address.
I think this is a fun way to get back into Snail Mail. So few of us actually get anything besides bills in the mail anymore that this is sure to brighten anyone's day. Feel free to copy this idea on your blog and let me know how it goes.
